You can't go wrong with eBay...

Comic Book Postal Auctions - the original, and still the best! Their quarterly auctions are a real event.
26pigs also occasionally have some good stuff.

The following guide to Beano prices is not only completely unoffocial and not ratified by any source, it is also entirely my own devising. However, it didn't come straight off the top of my head. It's based on observation of auctions over the last few years at Compal and eBay (see above), averaged out and generally smoothed over to present a pleasing distribution curve.

Basically, these are the prices you can expect to pay for a single comic in "fine+" condition. Less well-preserved examples will generally go for a correspondingly smaller sum. As a rule of thumb, I've found this chart quite helpful while collecting. If an item at auction goes way over the average price, it's best to bail out, as the other bidders either do not know its true worth, or want the item so badly that they don't care.

Good luck... unless, of course, you end up bidding against me!
